We supply capacitive and resistive touch panels, both as standalone touch glass and bonded onto our own display modules. Because the touch stack is built on the same production line as our TFT LCD, OLED, e-paper and serial HMI displays, the touch layer and the display can be specified, matched and shipped as one module instead of two parts from two suppliers.

If your enclosure is already designed around a display, we can bond the touch layer to that display and return a finished module with a single interface and a single part number.

Capacitive and resistive touch

Capacitive touch is the type we build most: haute résolution, réponse rapide, long service life, good wear resistance and multi-touch. It suits bare-finger operation on a display that has to stay clean and readable. Resistive touch remains the better answer for some applications, because it responds to a stylus, a gloved hand or any pointed object, and it keeps working where moisture, dust or heavy vibration would upset a capacitive stack. We will tell you which one fits your product rather than defaulting to the cheaper option, because the wrong touch stack is one of the most common and most expensive specification mistakes in a custom display project.

Touch is available on every display family we sell, and in each case the touch layer is customizable:

Cover glass

Touch glass is available with anti-glare, anti-scratch and fingerprint-proof surface treatments, and in shatterproof constructions for equipment that is handled in the field. See cover glass and protective glass panels.

Customisation and minimum order

The touch layer can be built to your enclosure: size, outline shape, glass thickness, surface treatment, interface and printed graphics are all specified per project. If a standard module already fits your product you can use it directly and save the development time and cost. There is no MOQ, small quantities are accepted, standard samples are free, and we will draw the project solution for you at no charge.

Common questions

Can you supply a touch panel without a display? Oui. We supply touch glass on its own as well as touch bonded to a display module.

Do you supply both capacitive and resistive touch? Oui. Capacitive is the type we build most, and resistive remains the better choice for stylus, glove or pointed-object use.

Which interfaces are supported? I2C, SPI, MCU and RGB on TFT modules; UART, RS232, RS485 and USART on serial HMI modules; HDMI on the HDMI touch screens; Android and Linux on the A133 terminals.

Is multi-touch supported? Oui, multi-touch is a feature of our capacitive touch stacks.

Can you bond touch to a display I already use? Oui. We can design the capacitive touch together with the display glass to form one integrated touch display product.
