An OLED display module emits its own light, so it needs no backlight. That gives it very high contrast, a genuinely black background, and a thinner stack than an equivalent LCD — useful where the image should appear to float, where the enclosure is too shallow for a backlight assembly, or where the visual result is part of the product’s appeal.

We supply OLED display modules from a 0.4 اینچ (72×40) monochrome panel up to a 5.5 اینچ (720×1280) colour module, including compact monochrome modules with I²C interfaces for instrument readouts and small control panels.

One design point is worth planning for: OLED can retain an image if the same static elements sit on screen for very long periods.
